High Tea voor mijn verjaardag

Twee weken geleden was ik jarig en ook dit jaar heb ik een high tea georganiseerd voor mijn liefste vriendinnetjes. Het is ieder jaar weer een behoorlijke klus, maar het is ook zo gezellig. Gelukkig kreeg ik hulp van mijn mama en zusje.

Dit jaar was er helaas te weinig tijd voor een eigen taart of cupcakes, maar er was genoeg ander lekkers aanwezig.

Een week eerder had ik de doily-slingers al gemaakt en opgehangen. En... ze hangen er nog hihi.

Mijn Royal Albert kop en schoteltjes mochten weer op tafel, samen met mijn mooiste taartplateau's, schaaltjes, bordjes en bestek.

Helaas ben ik vergeten een groepsfoto te maken, daar baalde ik wel ontzettend van. Volgend jaar houd ik vast weer een high tea en zal ik de groepsfoto echt niet nog een keer vergeten.

Heel eenvoudig! Men neme een wit lint, verschillende doilies en lijm. Vervolgens kan het vouwen en plakken beginnen. 

Dit roosje kreeg ik van enkele mentorleerlingen.

Birthday High Tea

Last Thursday (the 8th of March) another year was over..
I turned 27.

This time I wanted something to do else than a party in the evening. Ever since I moved in, I wanted to do a High Tea. This was the perfect occasion and I loved planning, baking and decorating the table! I also had help from my mom, who made the wraps and sandwiches with me.

My dearest girl friends were invited and we had so much fun..

It was a perfect birthday party! Here are some pictures of the "sweet high tea table".

A second time on Jitterbug Weddings...

Hi everybody!

Yesterday I recieved again a message from Nicola from Jitterbug Weddings, this time about my birthdaycake.

She loved the cake & dessert table and would like to write a topic about it, showing only my cakepictures. Couldn't believe what I was reading and I'm sooooo happy with this topic!!

My first dessert table

On the internet I always see so much pretty dessert tables and I realy wanted one at my birthdayparty. I was lucky enough to celebrate it at my little sisters house and she has a lovely wall and even greater dinertable that I could use. The lace tableclouth and decorations on the table are mine :)

The table isn't full of food, but a first I think it makes a little pretty dessert table.

Tonight I'm celebrating my 26th birthday with my friends at my sisters house. I wanted to make a big cake (it's my first all by myself..) in blue&white.. This colour-combination I've loved  for such a long time and I'm sooo happy with the result. Hoping my gasts will love it too.

The fillings are chocolatecake with chocolate fudge cream and vanillacake with cherryfilling.
The bows, baroque-applications and cameo's are made from molds and the sugar pearls are put on by hand (I believe there are about 300 of them...). The lace-border is real :)

Working all week on it and it was a good practice as I have another three-layered cake in a month.

I'm already wondering which colours will be used on my next birthdaycake ;)
